Usual Protocol’s airdrop claim is now open, and the active participants of the Binance pre-launch phase can start trading USUAL in the spot market. The claim went live at 19:00 UTC on December 18th, exactly after one month of its trading in the pre-market.
This article will get into the complete details of Usual airdrop, including its pre-market trading process and the earning methods in Binance. Let’s begin.
What Is The Usual Protocol?
Before we get into the complete details of the airdrop, let’s check what the Usual Protocol is. The protocol is created as a better alternative to existing stablecoin providers who are more centralized than co-owned by the communities.
Usual aims to divide the profit in a decentralized manner by rewarding its native token USUAL to the participants who use its stablecoin USD0. As a newly launched platform, it is currently far below other prominent stablecoin protocols in the market cap.
The launchpool event and the airdrop campaign of Usual, in collaboration with Binance, are expected to generate a huge user base and media exposure to the token in the coming days.
Eligibility Criteria For The USUAL Airdrop
The airdrop campaign is solely reserved for Binance users. All the participants should verify their KYC (know your customer) to become eligible. The airdrop is not free to participate as it demands users to lock up a certain amount of BNB or FDUSD.
How Does The USUAL Airdrop Work? Procedures & Key Dates
The USUAL airdrop works through multiple procedures such as staking, pre-market trading, airdropping, and spot listing. USUAL was launched into the Binance pre-market as its 61st project on November 19th, 2024. Users were able to stake their Binance Coin (BNB) and FDUSD to receive USUAL before the premarket trade.
From 15th November to 19th November 2024, users staked BNB and FDUSD to receive USUAL’s first phase airdrop. Around 1.5 million users participated in the event. Maximum supply of airdrop was 300 million tokens, around 7.5% of the total supply.
On 19th November, the pre-market trading became live and the participants started trading USUAL with the USUAL/USDT pair. There was no trading limit but the holding limit was 40,000 USUAL. The pre-market ended on 17th December, and the participants can now claim the USUALS they earned from the trade.
How To Claim & Withdraw USUAL?
After the listing into spot, eligible users will receive USUAL in their spot account without doing anything. Users who received the USUALS can either hold or start trading them on its spot market, which was launched yesterday.
The pairs available in the spot market are USUAL/BTC, USUAL/USDT, USUAL/FDUSD, and USUAL/TRY. If you are not interested in trading inside Binance, you can withdraw to your personal Ethereum wallet.
Additional Options To Earn USUAL
You can do margin trading, futures trading, and stake your USUAL. Apart from the staking, all other options are risky. Let’s get into the details.
- Earn By Staking: Users can stake USUAL through the “Simple Earn” section and receive passive income. The current APR (Annual Percentage Rate) is around 4.6%.
- Margin Trading: Binance added USUAL to its margin trading yesterday, where the users will be able to borrow extra tokens to trade. VIP7 to VIP 9 members will be able to purchase the tokens 30 minutes before the beginning of trading.
- Futures Trading: Binance Futures has opened the USUAL futures trading with 75x maximum leverage. The maximum funding rate is 2.00% which will be settled every four hours.
