Because most of the time we read only about success stories of American crypto millionaires like Erik Finnman who is a teenage Bitcoin millionaire. Lake Timmins: A Golden Stroke Man 

Our first success story is of Luke Timmins, a son of Plymouth-based property developer Michael Timmins. His journey into the cryptocurrency world began in the year 2016 while he was travelling to Thailand on a holiday trip. In that year Bitcoin was trading for just a few hundred pounds. And Timmins found the concept “very interesting” and decided to invest in Bitcoin. 

But after some time he did not confine himself to only investing in Bitcoin. He researched about crypto and found out about Ethereum which he bought when it was trading at just 7 pounds per coin. In just one go get bought 350 Ether coins for 3,450 pounds and this decision was life-changing for him. 

By the time the bull run of 2017 came, Luke had already become a millionaire faster than anyone could have ever thought. Since then, he has worked to diversify his portfolio and become a seed investor in multiple cryptocurrency-related projects. Some of these projects were very brilliant while some were fraud. 

His advice to other investors is to choose projects with strong teams and good fundamentals. He also stated, “Bitcoin is a waiting game!”. 

Vlad Vassilev: E-commerce Entrepreneur Turned Millionaire

Vlad Vassilev owns the Warford-base Vape Club. His crypto journey began in the year 2013 when he became very curious about technology and its potential to revolutionize payment systems which also coincides with his interest in his profession of e-commerce.

Vassilev’s methods of investing in cryptocurrency were cautious but very consistent. He started by investing small amounts of disposable income in 20 different cryptocurrencies. By 2016, his cryptocurrency portfolio touched 15,000 pounds. But he became a crypto millionaire during the bull run phase of 2017. 

He says that Ethereum has been his best investment so far. The Ethereum coins he purchased were 5 pounds each which rose to 1,000 pounds during the bull run period. His advice to new investors is to do your research and have a long-term investment approach. 

Ben Dalo: Britain’s Youngest Self-made Billionaire

Ben Dalo is an entrepreneur who built his fortune by creating value in the cryptocurrency space. In the year 2018, the Times named Ben Dalo as the UK’s first Bitcoin Billionaire and Britain’s youngest self-made billionaire.

His crypto journey wasn’t backed up by luck but it was the result of his relentless hard work and innovations. He is a first-class graduate from Worcester College, Oxford. He also worked at IBM and J.P Morgan before he co-founded BitMEX in 2014 with Arthur Hayes. His venture BitMEX quickly became the first and most successful derivative exchange platform for trading Bitcoin. 

BitMEX handled around 1 Trillion worth of Bitcoin derivatives contracts annually under the leadership of Delo and this made him a crypto millionaire. when Delo was stated as the UK’s first Bitcoin Billionaire, the cryptocurrency was trading at half its price which would have helped his fortune grow. 

Delo faced a lot of challenges as well like U.S. enforcement action in 2020 for BitMEX’s customer information collection processes.
