Monad Airdrop Crypto

Recently, Monad has signaled us an update regarding its airdrop campaign’s launch by announcing the much-awaited Monad Foundation. With this organizational update, Monad is trying to evolve into an independent protocol that encourages the adoption of blockchain technology.

As a part of the community-led improvement proposals, the pitch competition Monad Madness is likely to be conducted again as an airdrop campaign soon. Previous Monad Madness airdrop had $1,000,000 in prizes and the collab of 60+ venture firms.

This article will delve into the latest updates regarding the Monad airdrop, churned from Monad’s blog, docs, and social media handles. Also, we will get into key dates and a claiming guide. Let’s start.

What is Monad?

Monad Airdrop

Monad is a lightning-fast, hyper-scalable Layer 1 blockchain. Using its EVM-compatible protocol, 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) were successfully deployed when the devnet went operational in March 2024. The mainnet might be available in early 2025, and users anticipate a public testnet to be launched shortly. The important dates have not been officially confirmed.

How Does Monad Work?

Although the existing Solana-based solutions are quite scalable, they are not compatible with EVM without the Neon extension. Monad fills this gap, offering a smooth user experience. The following are the main components that enable Monad to accomplish this:

  • MonadBFT: A specially designed Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) consensus, MonadBFT certifies transactions in microseconds. It is a variation of HotStuff, which accomplishes both optimistic reactions and linear communication.
  • Deferred Execution: Transactions are carried out after reaching a consensus, and when nodes reach a consensus, these agreements are carried out as transactions, updating the consensus during the execution phase. This parallelized process technique is the cornerstone of Monad.
  • Parallel Execution: Transactions are carried out in parallel tracks. Before the previous execution is finished, the new one will start. The doubling problem is resolved by the system tracking the inputs. In a second, 10,000 parallel transactions take place.
  • MonadDb: When generating a new block, all conventional blockchains retain the complete transaction history. The Monad database, MonadDb, concentrates on current transactions rather than reviewing all of the earlier data. A temporary storage phase, similar to RAM, is established to carry out the transactions. Temporary storage is where the wallets, balances, contract codes, and other information of the ongoing transactions are kept.

The Monad Madness: How Does the Airdrop Work?

Monad Madness is an in-person pitch competition for web3 enthusiasts who like to build nuanced EVM applications. Builders will get secure funding and support from professionals if their idea gets pitched.

The previous Monad Madness airdrop was conducted with a $1,000,000 reward pool and sponsorship of 60 ventures. The announcement of the next airdrop from Monad is anticipated this week or next week, with a bigger reward pool.

Eligibility Criteria For the Airdrop

Anyone with a basic idea of blockchain technology and EVM can participate. The selection criteria are solely based on the novelty and practicality of the participant’s concept. The campaign will have leaders from various professions as judges.

Is This Airdrop Free?

Yes, anyone can participate without spending a penny. However, based on the concepts submitted, the weaker ones will be filtered out in the early stage. Beyond money, creativity and the power to execute matters here.

Monad Airdrop Launch Date

Monad Madness is expected to launch in Q1 2025. Mostly it will go live in January itself. Follow the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of Monad to receive updates regarding the dates. The previous Monad Madness was first leaked by an intern before the official announcement. So, keep an eye on the leaks from the insiders.

Final Thoughts: Is Monad Madness a Trustable Airdrop?

Monad Labs raised 225 million dollars for the Monad blockchain, according to sources. The execution of Monad Foundation, the airdrop campaign, and the mainnet launch are the upcoming stages. The roadmap, the community support, and the partnership from various renowned ventures make the platform genuine.

However, since the protocol is still in its infancy, the project’s authenticity has not yet been confirmed by blockchain experts. You can get into its whitepaper and the community talks to get a clear picture to decide for yourself. Always DYOR before engaging with any blockchain projects.
