Born to Kim Warwick, a renowned Australian tennis grand slam champion, and his wife Alanna, Kain spent most of his childhood in the U.S. and moved to Australia when he was twelve years old. He was a student at Waverley College from 1996 to 1998. He studied Genetics at the University of New South Whales. However, he dropped out of the course in 1999 and returned to the United States.

2000s

  • 2000: After reaching the U.S., he started his first job at a startup called Whatcard.com as an IT manager. It was an online community for credit card owners and people interested in personal finance.  
  • 2001 to 2002: Kain worked at Whatcard.com for a year and moved to Harvey Norman, a platform that sells electronic items online. He was a manager in the company. 
  • 2002 to 2005: Like his father, Kain was also interested in tennis from childhood. He had a lengthy career as an assistant tennis coach at the Bay Club Company till 2005. 
  • 2005 to 2008: As a person interested in music, Kim started practicing various instruments from the age of 13. He transformed into a professional musician by becoming a part of the band The Lie Society, with his childhood friend Thomas Smithyman. 
  • 2009: After playing various roles in his career, he transformed into an entrepreneur by founding Pouncer, a live auction website. However, he didn’t do much to push the website into rankings.  

2010s

  • 2010 to 2012: He shut down Pouncer on June 1st, 2010, and started working with Harvey Norman, an Australian electronics and furniture retailer company. His role was a sales agent. 
  • 2013: After resigning from Harvey Norman, he founded an online music shop called Ai. The website provided pieces of equipment to musicians at a discounted price.  
  • 2014: He worked with White Labelled, a digital media company, as a project manager for a year. This experience reserved him a role in the advisory council of the Australian Digital Commerce Association. 

The Growth Of Kain Warwick As A Crypto Entrepreneur

Kain Warwick entered the blockchain industry in 2014 by co-founding Blueshyft, a digital payment solution that offers the purchase of Bitcoin. Although the company was not a success, he learned a lot about blockchain technology and the crypto market while acting as the CEO. 

After stepping out from Blueshyft, he started working on a decentralized payment system. He launched a stablecoin network called Havven as an alternative to tether. The network uses its own crypto SNX as collateral to the US dollar. He renamed the platform Sythetix and gave it to the decentralized community by stepping out from his role as the owner. 

Synthetix was later developed into an ecosystem of DeFi apps and became a highly successful community-driven network. It hit a market capitalization of 3.11 billion dollars in 2021. More advancements will arrive soon to the platform, as in its 2025 roadmap.
